I have lived in Northern California my entire life. I attended school at Cal State University Chico. I received my California Landscape Contractors License and teaching credential In the early 80’s and worked as a contractor for 35 years. I picked up a fly rod at the age of twenty one and that changed everything. Beth and I are married with two grown children and two grandsons.

Q&A:

What is your favorite feature about this trailer?

If I have to pick one it is the solar/battery system and lighting.

How has owning this trailer changed the way you camp?

This one is easy. I have been tent camping and fly fishing for 50 years. This trailer will allow us to camp longer ,stay safer and warmer in the fall and winter.

There are many trailer options on the market, what made you go with a Second Wind trailer?

We looked at teardrop builds all over the country and decided that it was important to work with a California builder. That helped us come to the conclusion that the two best builders for us were in Northern California. The teardrop that Nathan built was the perfect fit for us.

How often are you camping?

We camp several times a year. This teardrop is a main piece in our retirement plan.

We all go camping for different reasons, what is yours?

Fly fishing allows me to camp and visit beautiful places, Having adventures with family members is one of the best reasons I can think of.

What vehicle are you towing your trailer with?

2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz SEL Premium 2.5L Turbo We also will use our 1999 Dodge Dakota.
